Kathy Hollick-Blee organiser of
Taw River Show Jumping is delighted
to announce that
Double Olympian and Hickstead Derby winner
Is coming back to North Devon for another
On Saturday 22nd October
@ local equestrian centre Codden Hill E.C.

This event is OPEN TO ALL and is exclusively arranged by Kathy & Adam who are personal friends of Geoff

Tel - 0792 152 0990

Clinic is open to horses and ponies jumping 60cm (2ft) and above to 1.30cm+ (4’9”+), unaffiliated and BS, no matter your age or ability this clinic is OPEN to everyone who enjoys show jumping.

We have gone for a local centre to help keep entry costs down, the arena is a nice flood lit indoor 20x40, with a good surface for jumping,, it has an open viewing gallery for family and friends to watch your session and two smaller outside warm up areas if needed and to wait in. It has plenty of parking and loo on site, you will be greeted with a warm friendly welcome. Easy access from A377. Taw River will be using their own brightly coloured jumps and we will have homemade cakes, toasted sandwiches and drinks available on the day.
Groups will be based on ability as stated on booking form. Sessions are an hour long.  Please book early to avoid disappointment! The last clinic we held with Geoff Billington in January earlier this year sold out within 5 days of going live – (we sold all 8 hours, 4 groups of 4, a group of 3 and 3 individual sessions!!)

How to book:  Contact us with your email address for a booking form, please state what ability you are currently doing so we can match to the best we can for groups.

The space will be held for 48 hours upon your request, bookings are on a first come first served basis. No bookings are confirmed without payment and your booking form MUST be returned upon payment, which will be non-refundable unless we can re-allocate your booking. tawriver@gmail.com

Once we have received your payment and form your space is confirmed and a receipt gift card will be posted to you. Time slots and groups will be available a week prior to the event. Please arrive at least half an hour before your lesson and be ready to go in when called.

Individual lesson - £265
Shared lesson (2 people) - £132.50p each
Shared lesson (3 people) - £88.50p each
Shared lesson (4 people) - £66 each

*From experience in running these big clinics we recommend doing a session of 3 as your get so much more from a smaller group, but we are offering all of the above group sessions as we totally appreciate and understand that some can’t afford the more expensive fees. Of course the less people in a group the more you will get out of your training session with Geoff.
* Please note your entry fee includes Geoff’s hourly rate his expenses and venue hire, Taw River make nothing from running this clinic,  beyond an opportunity for myself to train with my trainer and a chance for everyone else to have a lesson with “Simply the Best Superman” in show jumping – even I will be paying for my own training session!

About Geoff;

Geoff Billington has been a leading figure on the show jumping circuit for over 30 years. He boasts both European and World Championship team bronze medals and has won numerous grands prix.
Committed to an equestrian career, he went on to serve an apprenticeship with the top show jumper David Bowen, who is now regarded as one of today's most outstanding trainers.

In 1976 Geoff rode Talk Of The North at his first international competition as part of the Nations Cup team in Olsztyn, Poland. He represented Great Britain again at the Hamburg CSIO in 1981, and has since been a valued member of the Nations Cup teams, appearing no less than 50 times and helping to secure nine victories Geoff is most famous for his partnership with the much loved It's Otto, who received the BSJA Team Lifetime Award in 2001. When It's Otto arrived at Geoff's yard as a six-year old Geoff had planned to sell him, but following a chance injury he failed the vetting. The duo went on to amass over £650,000 winnings, made 15 Nations Cup appearances, were Britain's highest-placed partnership at the 1996 Atlanta Olympics and represented Britain again at the Sydney Olympics in 2000. Geoff is not only renowned as a horseman, but is also something of an entertainer, known for doing impressions of his fellow riders.
